Cookie Policy
Effective: 25 May 2026 Version: 1.0 Legal basis: Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) as amended, and UK GDPR.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They store information that can be read by the website on subsequent visits. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, improve efficiency, and provide functionality.
2. Our cookie approach
At launch, the Eternal Elegance platform uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or behavioural profiling cookies.
Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, a consent banner is not required under PECR.
This policy will be updated, and a consent banner deployed before any analytics or tracking cookies are introduced in the future. If you are reading this and a cookie banner has appeared on the site, that means our cookie use has changed since this version was published.
3. Cookies we use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identity Platform session | Strictly necessary | Authenticated session management — keeps you logged in | Session or up to 30 days (with "Remember me") | First-party (us) and Google Identity Platform (Google Cloud) |
| Session ID | Strictly necessary | Internal session tracking for authenticated users | Session | First-party (us) |
| CSRF token | Strictly necessary | Cross-site request forgery protection on form submissions | Session | First-party (us) |
No other cookies are set at launch. In particular:
- No analytics (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
- No advertising or marketing cookies
- No behavioural profiling
- No third-party social media trackers (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, etc.)
4. Third-party services with their own cookies
When you use certain platform features, you may be interacting with embedded third-party services that set their own cookies under their own cookie policies. We inform you of these up front; they activate only when you engage the relevant feature.
| Third-party feature | Vendor | Cookie context | Policy reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe Connect onboarding + checkout | Stripe | Only when you engage a payment flow | stripe.com/cookies-policy |
| Veriff identity verification | Veriff | Only during the Veriff identity check | veriff.com/privacy-policy |
| DocuSeal e-signature | DocuSeal (self-hosted by us) | Only during contract signing | Governed by our Privacy Policy |
5. How to manage cookies
Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies stored on your device
- Delete cookies manually
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all third-party cookies
Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent you from logging in or submitting forms. If you block our cookies, the platform will not function.
Browser-specific guidance:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
You can also use your browser's private / incognito mode to prevent cookies from being retained across sessions.
6. Do Not Track
The Do Not Track browser header is not currently a standard respected by most websites. Because we do not use tracking cookies at all, the DNT header is effectively honoured for all visitors to the Eternal Elegance platform by default.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this Cookie Policy if our cookie use changes. Any change that introduces non-essential cookies will be notified via a cookie consent banner before those cookies are set, consistent with PECR requirements.
